To the Congregation of Temple Judea:

By now you likely know that our beloved Senior Rabbi, Edwin Goldberg, has decided to move to a different stage of his career. We will deeply miss Rabbi Goldberg, who has brought distinction, wisdom, love and Jewish learning to our temple. We wish him the best.

Your Temple Judea leadership is committed to maintaining the high standard of clerical leadership set by Rabbi Goldberg. We are indeed fortunate to have another exemplar of that standard in our wonderful Associate Rabbi, Judith Siegal.

In the days and weeks to come, we will move forward to ensure that we continue to have rabbinical leadership and guidance of the highest caliber. In the coming weeks and months, I will communicate developments to the congregation regarding this transition on a regular and timely basis.

We know that change can be challenging, and that you may have questions about the process, which we will endeavor to answer. But we also know that at the core of our Temple is you, us, all of us – a caring congregation committed to Jewish worship and values as we move ahead.

B’Shalom,

Gary Berman, President
On behalf of the Temple Judea Board of Trustees
