molly234Molly Levy serves at Temple Judea’s Experiential Education Director, working with youth in many exciting and out of the box ways. She oversees JTY, the student-led temple youth group, as well as Temple Judea’s younger youth programs, STAR123, Club 45, and JTY Jr. Molly also helps to plan family programming, retreats, and J-PLEX, which all bring together her love of Jewish Education and community. Molly also shares her time as the Program Director for URJ Camp Coleman, a mere twenty minute drive from her hometown of Gainesville, GA. She supervises the programming department and plans prayer experiences, trips, and helps coordinate the famous Maccabia that happens once a session.

Growing up as the only Jewish student in her school, Molly spent her summers at Coleman and was immersed in Judaism and began her path towards becoming a Jewish Educator. She attended the Universityof Georgia and was excited to become an active and engaged member of the Hillel house on campus, where she was eventually inducted into the UGA Hillel Hall of Fame.
After receiving a degree in English and teaching certification in English education, Molly moved to Jackson, Mississippi to serve as an Education Fellow at theGoldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life. She traveled around the south, working with small congregations and writing curriculum for small religious schools. After her two year fellowship ended, Molly moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to take on the role of Director of Education at Temple Emanuel.

In 2012 Molly moved to Baltimore, MD and completed her Masters in Jewish Education and Jewish Communal Service at Towson University. She was also granted the title of Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) by the professional organization ARJE (Association of Reform Jewish Educators). For the past three years, before moving to Miami, she served as the JBSC Educator at Washington Hebrew Congregation in Washington, DC.
When Molly is not at Temple Judea or in the North Georgia Mountains, she loves spending time with her husband, Justin (a Florida and NFTY-STR native), yoga, running, learning to cook, visiting family, and learning about her new hometown of Miami!
